What would you do if you heard that U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner were having dinner at a restaurant in the heart of Tel Aviv? We know exactly what we did.
Just a day before U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance lands in Israel for a two-day visit, we met the two men who helped architect the Israel-Hamas ceasefire that brought the war to an end. Surrounded by a team of stern-faced security guards, Kushner and Witkoff explored Tel Aviv’s culinary scene, choosing to dine at Pereh, the acclaimed restaurant of chef Aviad Peled.

As befits local heroes, the pair didn’t go unnoticed. Other diners applauded their arrival, and several seized the opportunity to snap a photo with the famous guests.
