About four and a half months after he was seriously injured while fighting as a reservist soldier in Gaza, it was revealed that Idan Amedi is working on a new album.
In a story shared by the singer's manager, Matan Zamir, on social media a list of songs appeared under the title "Album 6" under the heading "To Life" and Amedi's song in the background. Among the song titles listed for the future album, are "Superman," "Mom," "Five crosses, two grenades" and "Goodbye."

Those around Amedi say that at this stage there is no date for the release of the album. "It could also take months, it's not immediate. Nothing is coming out right now," on source said.
"Idan Amedi is still in rehabilitation and at the same time working on new songs that could make up an album that we all hope will be released in the coming months," said Ofer Menachem, the singer's public relations manager.
Amedi served in the reserves after the outbreak of war in Gaza on October 7 as a soldier in the IDF's Combat Engineering Corps, until he was seriously injured in the Gaza Strip in January. He was taken to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, and was sedated and ventilated with shrapnel injuries in several parts of his body. He was treated and released from the trauma department a few days later as well as from the hospital after his condition improved.
In November, Amedi wrote on his Instagram account that he was "willing not to perform or sing for a year," in order to continue fighting. According to him, "We mustn’t abandon Israeli residents in the south and the north again. Anything other than the elimination of Hamas in Gaza and the rooting out of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon poses an immediate danger to our children."
