Israeli content creator and former reality television contestant Alexa Dol deleted an image from Instagram after followers accused her of sharing an antisemitic and anti-Zionist conspiracy theory.
Dol, known for appearing on the Israeli versions of The Amazing Race and Survivor, has recently documented what she describes as her “exit from the matrix,” including giving up news consumption, adopting what she calls “high-vibration food” and practicing grounding and “energy cleansing” at home.
While those posts have drawn both support and criticism, one image she shared several days ago triggered particular outrage. The graphic, presented as a kind of hierarchy or “root tree,” claimed that groups controlling the media and the public included “Zionists,” alongside the Rothschild and Rockefeller families.
In the accompanying post, Dol said she had stopped following current affairs because “99% of what they say there is simply mind engineering, fearmongering, lies and the creation of narratives intended to strengthen whoever that channel supports.”
“The news is not merely part of the matrix,” she wrote. “It is the matrix.”
Followers quickly challenged her over the image.
“Image nine is aggressive antisemitic propaganda. I don’t understand how you could include something like that in a post opposing mind engineering,” one user wrote.
Others asked whether Dol believed “Zionists” were secretly controlling events and compared the imagery to antisemitic propaganda from the 1930s.
Israeli actress and influencer Maya Dagan also criticized Dol in an Instagram video Tuesday.
“Is Alexa Dol posting full-on antisemitic conspiracy theories and we are all somehow fine with it?” Dagan asked.
She mocked some of Dol’s other lifestyle content before drawing a line at the conspiracy graphic.
“You want to ground yourself? Ground yourself. You want to be in your feminine energy? Fine,” Dagan said. “This is where I draw the line.”
Dagan then pointed to the graphic’s claims that the Rothschild family and other powerful groups controlled world leaders.
Dol removed the image shortly afterward and responded to the criticism in an Instagram story.
“Friends, everyone can calm down. It was an innocent mistake,” she wrote.
Dol said she had intended to convey what she described as the image’s message about the media creating fear, division and hatred through manipulation.
She said she had not noticed “what was written in small print on the side regarding Zionists.”
Dol added, however, that allegations concerning powerful families such as the Rothschilds and Rockefellers were “a different story.”
“Of course, as soon as I realized, I deleted it,” she wrote.
Asked by about Dagan’s remarks, Dol responded: “I wish her lots of success.”
