U.S. media personality Kylie Jenner will cover the funeral costs of her hairstylist and close friend, Jesus Guerrero, who died over the weekend at 34, TMZ reported on Tuesday.
Sources said Jenner is in contact with Guerrero’s family and is also arranging the transfer of his body from Los Angeles to Texas, where his family lives. The cause of his death remains unknown.
A source told Us Weekly his death left her "beyond devastated." “Kylie is grieving. She’s having such a hard time that she is barely eating and talking. She’s not doing well," the source added.
Jenner reportedly learned of Guerrero’s death on Saturday morning and soon contacted his family to offer condolences and assistance. Sources said this was why she didn’t accompany her partner, Timothée Chalamet, to the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, where he won Best Actor.
Alongside Jenner’s financial support, Guerrero’s family launched a fundraiser that has raised over $93,000 — $13,000 more than the initial goal.

Guerrero began working with the Kardashian-Jenner family in 2019 and became close friends with Kylie outside the salon. He also worked with celebrities such as Katy Perry, Demi Moore, Rosalía, Charli XCX, Camila Cabello, Chrissy Teigen, Dua Lipa, Jessica Alba, Lisa and Jennifer Lopez.
Jenner has yet to comment publicly, but several of Guerrero’s high-profile clients, including Cabello, Teigen and Alba, paid tribute to him on social media, as did Kylie’s sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
"Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support," Jenner wrote on her Instagram account. "I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side.
"He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter. Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend.”
