After nearly a year of dating they never confirmed but didn’t hide, Tom Cruise, 63, and Ana de Armas, 37, have called it quits, according to sources who spoke to The Sun.
Insiders say the breakup was amicable. “They had a great time together but felt the relationship had run its course,” one source said. “They’ll stay good friends, just not as a couple. The spark faded, but they’re both mature about it and still enjoy spending time together.”
Though they never commented publicly on their relationship, the two left little doubt. They were first spotted dining together in London in February, later attending events and going on dates around the world. Their appearances included David Beckham’s birthday party, a private yacht trip in Spain, a romantic getaway in Vermont, and an Oasis concert in London.
As their relationship deepened, a friend told The Daily Mail: “Tom showers Ana with gifts. He started with her favorite flowers, then books he thought she’d love because she’s such a reader. As they grew closer, the gifts became more extravagant: gold bracelets, designer clothes and the freedom to fly anywhere she wanted. Not many people can offer that, and she loves to travel.”
The timing of the breakup raised eyebrows, coming just days after de Armas was seen training at a private gym with actor Miles Teller, who starred alongside Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick. According to reports, the two left together but drove off in separate cars. Teller is married, and any speculation about their relationship remains just that—rumor.
In a May interview, de Armas hinted at her connection with Cruise, saying: “It’s a lot of fun. We’re definitely working on several projects together, not just one. I’m very excited.” One of those projects is the film "Deeper," which was expected to begin shooting soon. However, production has reportedly been delayed, likely due to new taxes President Donald Trump plans to impose on foreign film productions.
Cruise has been married three times to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes and is the father of three children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, with Kidman, and Suri, 19, with Holmes.
