Israeli journalist and news anchor Sivan Rahav-Meir has decided to leave the country’s Channel 12 after more than 20 years, Ynet learned on Thursday.
Rahav-Meir took an unpaid leave of absence about a year ago to focus on her lectures but recently decided not to return, effectively ending her long tenure with the network.
In recent years, she has hosted the weekly Friday Torah class on Israeli channel Keshet and will continue to do so despite leaving the news division.
