A winter weather system that brought stormy conditions to Israel over the weekend has come to an end, with clearer skies and rising temperatures expected in the coming days, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.
Monday’s weather will be partly to mostly cloudy, with high-altitude cloud cover and temperatures returning to seasonal averages. In the morning, strong easterly winds are forecast in the northern highlands. Overnight, skies will remain mostly clear, and strong easterly winds are expected in the central and northern highlands.

On Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear, and temperatures will continue to rise, climbing above seasonal norms. Strong easterly winds will persist in the northern and central highlands, particularly in the north, where haze is also possible.
Wednesday will bring slightly warmer and drier conditions across most of the country, with continued strong winds in the north and central highlands and a chance of haze. On Thursday, temperatures will rise further, becoming unusually warm to hot for the season nationwide, with continued haze possible in northern and central regions.
