Rainfall continues across Israel as first winter storm winds down

Sporadic showers expected to cover most of Israel from the northern Negev region to the country's northernmost parts, before a warm and sunny weekend

Rainfall is expected to continue across Israel on Wednesday in sporadic intervals, as the first winter storm to hit the country begins to slowly wind down.

  • The precipitation will cover most of Israel from the northern Negev region to the country's northernmost parts.
    Skies are supposed to clear up on Thursday, with a low chance of showers, ahead of a warm and sunny weekend.
    The showers on Monday and Tuesday in some areas of the country, and especially in the coastal region, yielded about 50 millimeters of rainfall in total.
    The most rainfall was recorded around Ben Gurion Airport with 29 millimeters. Jerusalem saw 10 millimeters, Haifa 9, and Tel Aviv 6.

    Predicted temperatures for Wednesday and Wednesday night: Eilat 20℃-29℃ (68℉-84℉), Be'er Sheva 15℃-26℃ (59℉-78℉), Haifa 19℃-23℃ (66℉-73℉), Tiberias 18℃-27℃ (64℉-81℉), Jerusalem 14℃-21℃ (57℉-70℉), Tel Aviv-Yafo 20℃-25℃ (68℉-77℉).
