Thirty representatives from Israel’s bi-national chambers of commerce, along with officials from the Ministry of Innovation and the Ministry of Economy, recently visited Magen David Adom’s (MDA) National Headquarters in Ramla.
The delegation included representatives from bi-national chambers of commerce from a range of countries. The visit was organized in cooperation with the Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce in Israel.

During the visit, the guests learned about MDA’s emergency response operations, including its National 101 Emergency Dispatch Center and the technology used to manage emergency calls and dispatch medical teams. The system uses tools such as real-time location tracking, data analysis and decision-support technology to help coordinate thousands of emergency incidents and send the appropriate resources quickly.
The visitors were also introduced to MDA’s nationwide operations, including its fleet of ambulances and Mobile Intensive Care Units, emergency response vehicles, network of volunteers, medical simulation center and Blood Services, which supplies blood to Israel’s healthcare system during routine periods and emergencies.

Orly Ariel, CEO of the Israeli Friends of MDA, said the visit provided an opportunity to demonstrate MDA’s role in responding to emergencies and saving lives. “MDA has faced significant challenges since October 7 and continues to provide emergency medical services while responding to routine calls across the country,” she said. “We hope the representatives of the bi-national chambers will share their understanding of MDA’s work with their countries and help strengthen international cooperation.”
Yoram Eldar, CEO of the Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce in Israel, said: “The visit showed how vision, professionalism and advanced technology come together to save lives and strengthen resilience. We left with a great appreciation for MDA’s work and a commitment to promote connections and partnerships that can support its important mission.”
MDA Director General Eli Bin thanked the visitors for coming to the organization’s headquarters. “Magen David Adom uses advanced technology and operational experience to provide an effective response during both routine emergencies and times of crisis,” he said. “Sharing our knowledge and experience with partners around the world is an important part of our mission.”
