Hundreds of single men and women and their relatives convened at Jerusalem's Western Wall this week for a mass prayer for love.
The prayer was organized by the US-based Mosdot Alexander institution, and it was held near the screen in order to allow women to take part in it as well.
"Between Tu B'Av and Yom Kippur ,people are interested in praying and finding a shidduch," one of the participants explained. "During this period there is virtue and power to find a match."
He added that his soul mate may be waiting behind the screen, in the women's gallery, although no speed dating was recorded after the prayer.
