The cloud bill nobody can explain gave rise to Finout

Finout was born from a problem its founders knew firsthand: cloud bills that grow faster than anyone can explain; its platform maps spending to teams, products and customers, while Red Dot, Maor, Team8, Pitango and Jibe are among its backers

Cloud infrastructure is easy to consume and notoriously difficult to allocate and control. Finout unifies cost data across cloud and SaaS environments, then helps companies map spending to teams, products, customers and business units so engineering and finance can work from the same picture.

Finout was founded in 2021 by Roi Ravhon, Asaf Liveanu and Yizhar Gilboa. The company says it has raised $85 million in total funding. Its 2024 Series B was backed by Red Dot Capital Partners and Maor Investments alongside existing investors Team8, Pitango and Jibe Ventures.

The founders built the company after experiencing cloud-cost management problems firsthand in engineering roles.
