|Updated:
ynet Global is launching Going Global, a new initiative that gives Israeli startups scaling in the United States a bigger stage, at a moment when global competition for attention, capital and customers is sharper than ever. The project spotlights promising Israeli companies and founders through ongoing editorial coverage. Rather than a one-time ranking, Going Global serves as a dynamic ongoing platform, allowing additional startups to join over time as they enter new markets, build global partnerships and gain traction abroad.

The initiative launches in partnership with Team8, Discount Tech and Deloitte Catalyst. It begins with 10 startups selected together with industry partners, with the goal of expanding to around 50 companies. At its core, Going Global connects Israeli innovation with international audiences, investors and industry communities in the U.S., where many Israeli startups seek their most important growth opportunities.
Team8, which builds companies in cyber, AI infrastructure, fintech and digital health, says the project reflects its broader commitment to helping Israeli startups compete internationally. The venture group operates through a company-building and investing model that brings together entrepreneurs, market research and domain expertise to identify major business needs, create category-defining companies and support growth abroad.

The initiative highlights Israeli companies already making an impact in the U.S., while showing the depth, quality and global relevance of Israel’s technology ecosystem. The startups selected reflect the kind of companies Team8 believes deserve wider international exposure: ambitious teams building real businesses, solving meaningful problems and gaining momentum in some of the world’s most competitive markets. “We have always believed our role is not only to help build exceptional companies, but also to promote the broader story of Israeli innovation,” says Asaf Azulay, partner and CMO at Team8. “This project is designed to showcase bold entrepreneurs and companies that are building excellent technology, and are already making a real mark in the U.S. market.”

For Discount Tech, the initiative fits into a wider mission to support Israeli entrepreneurs far beyond traditional banking and help them reach the investors, partners and markets that can accelerate their growth. “The vision of Discount Tech is to be the home of startups in Israel, far beyond a bank,” says Guy Navon, CEO of Discount Tech. “We aim to be the partner that accompanies entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey, connects them to opportunities, investors and new markets, and gives them the tools to grow, lead and succeed on the global stage.”

Deloitte Catalyst brings a unique enterprise mindset into the project: sitting in the crossroad between global businesses and technology, Deloitte Catalyst cuts through the noise of crowded technology markets and harnesses disruptive technologies for the benefit of both global decision-makers and founders. “In today’s hectic, noisy world, it is harder than ever to identify startups that are real diamonds in the rough,” says Amit Harel, partner and Deloitte Catalyst leader. “Between daily updates about a new AI tool or a new cybersecurity capability, the ability for investors, corporate executives and government officials to make sure they are focused on the winners has become a true business challenge.”

Harel says Deloitte Catalyst’s mission over the past decade has been to help large organizations and startups work together at scale, serving as a bridge between Israel’s tech ecosystem and global markets, beginning with the U.S. “Our ability to act as a bridge between the Israeli ecosystem and global markets, with a heavy focus on the U.S., has accelerated the journey for many successful startups,” Harel says. “This is why we’re so proud to be part of this unique project, which gives future winners the opportunity to get there faster, today.” Going Global gives leading Israeli startups more than visibility. It creates market energy around companies that are ready for hyper-growth. “We’re proud and excited to be a central part of this wonderful initiative, which not only creates better exposure for leading Israeli startups, but will surely create more wins and market energy around them,” says Harel .
Going Global aims to become a recognizable platform for Israeli startups looking outward, offering international readers, investors and industry leaders a closer look at the companies working to turn Israeli innovation into global growth.
