Fiverr launches AI Video Hub, challenging traditional Hollywood production model

Fiverr launches AI Video Hub as demand surges, connecting brands with independent creators producing studio-quality content faster and at lower cost

Fiverr has launched a new AI Video Hub, positioning itself at the center of a growing shift in how brand video content is produced, as independent creators challenge traditional Hollywood-style production models.
The platform, announced Monday, brings together a curated group of AI video directors, offering brands a direct way to commission commercials, social media content and branded films without relying on large production crews or agencies.

The move comes amid rising demand for AI-generated video. According to Fiverr’s Business Trends Index, searches for AI video creation rose 66% in the second half of 2025. The company argues the shift is not just technological, but structural, with independent creators increasingly able to deliver high-quality work traditionally associated with studios and major agencies.
To mark the launch, Fiverr installed a large hillside display in Los Angeles spelling out the name of AI video director Billy Boman. The installation, measuring about 30 feet tall and 230 feet wide, overlooks a major freeway and echoes iconic Hollywood signage, underscoring the company’s message about a changing industry.

Boman, based in Stockholm, has worked with companies including Google, Universal Music Group, YouTube and Klarna. He is part of a growing group of independent AI directors producing work that rivals traditional studio output while operating with smaller teams and lower costs.
The hub also features other creators, including The Dor Brothers, who produced an AI-generated music video for Snoop Dogg that drew more than 20 million views within two days, as well as Julien Nicaud, Too Short for Modeling and Jagger Waters, whose work spans major global brands and campaigns.
"For decades, brand video has been at the mercy of the Hollywood production playbook: big crews, big agencies, big budgets, and months of lead time," said Matti Yahav, CMO of Fiverr. "That model is breaking. The directors in this hub are producing work that stands next to anything coming out of a traditional studio, and they're doing it faster, leaner, and for a fraction of the cost. We put a 30-foot sign on a hillside in LA because this is where the entertainment industry has always announced what comes next. This is what comes next."
"A year ago, I was constrained by what was technically possible. Now I'm constrained only by what I can imagine, and that changes everything about how a brand can tell its story," said Boman. "My name on that hillside next to one of the most famous landmarks in entertainment history says something about where this industry is heading. The old gatekeepers built incredible things. But the gates are open now, and the directors walking through them don't need a studio lot or a seven-figure budget to deliver at that level."
The AI Video Hub is now available through Fiverr’s platform.
