A honeymoon bus-ticket problem became Travelier, now spanning more than 120 countries

Travelier began with a frustrating bus-ticket search on a honeymoon in the Philippines and grew into a network for booking buses, ferries and trains; the company says its group now spans more than 120 countries through five global online brands

Flights and hotels moved online years ago, but ground and sea transportation remains fragmented in many markets. Travelier connects travelers with local bus, ferry and rail inventory through a group of booking brands and technology platforms. The company says its five global online brands serve more than 120 countries and attract 14 million monthly visitors across its platforms.

Travelier traces its origin to co-founder Noam Toister’s honeymoon in the Philippines in 2016, when he struggled to find and buy a bus ticket. He later built a simple website to sell tickets on the same route and went on to build the business with Omer Chehmer and David Itzhaki.
