Popular artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT was experiencing an outage Tuesday, according to user reports. The Downdetector website reported problems with OpenAI, the platform’s parent company.
User reports indicate that the majority of the problems — 89% — were with ChatGPT. Users reported lag issues, timeouts, and the app crashing. Despite user reports, OpenAI’s status page did not display any problems Tuesday. OpenAI is based in San Francisco.
