Fresh reports of disruptions hit Cloudflare-dependent services on Friday, with users again experiencing problems loading X and several other major platforms.
According to Downdetector, roughly 20,000 users reported issues across different services, signaling a renewed wave of instability tied to Cloudflare’s network.

The new outage reports began surfacing late in the afternoon, with users noting slow loading times, error messages, and intermittent failures when attempting to access websites that rely on Cloudflare’s security and routing systems. Several platforms showed spikes in complaints, though most remained partially accessible.
These fresh disruptions follow a major incident earlier this week, when Cloudflare suffered a widespread failure that rippled across the internet. Early Tuesday, the company experienced a significant service degradation that interrupted access to high-profile platforms including X (formerly Twitter), ChatGPT, Canva, and popular multiplayer games like League of Legends and Valorant.

Cloudflare said the earlier trouble began after its support portal provider faced technical issues around 6 a.m. Eastern time. During that outage, even the company’s own status page struggled to load, and users across multiple services encountered messages such as “Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed,” a sign that Cloudflare’s protective systems were malfunctioning even though the sites themselves were online.
By mid-week, Cloudflare said a fix had been deployed, though it did not provide a firm timeline for full resolution. With new problems now being reported, it remains unclear whether Thursday’s disruptions are a continuation of the same issue or a separate incident.
Cloudflare has not yet issued a detailed public statement about the latest wave of outages.
