Jerusalem's famous and tourism sites are beautiful in any situation, but at night when they are illuminated by precious light, they are even more beautiful. Every day this week through Thursday starting at 20:00 there will be guided bus tours stopping at illuminated sites throughout the capital. In the months of September through December, the tours will take place on Mondays and Thursdays, except for holidays.
Among the sites you will see on the tour: the windmill the Mishkenot Sha'ananim neighborhood, the YMCA building, the France Square fountain, the flour mill on Ramban Street, the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, the Knesset, the Chords Bridge, the Sergey Hostel, the Church of the Holy Trinity, Notre Dame de Jerusalem, San Salvador Church, the New Gate, Nablus Gate, Augusta Victoria, Marina Magdalena, Church of the Ascension, Mount of Olives, the Ophel, Dung Gate, and the communication canal on Mount Zion.
The tour lasts about two hours. It meets at 8:00 p.m. at the windmill the Mishkenot Sha'ananim neighborhood, where participants receive introductory remarks. From there participants walk to the King David Hotel and get on the bus. The bus can, however, be boarded at three different stops: the King David Hotel, the Royal Wing Hote/Ramadal and Bar-Lev Boulevard near the Grand Court Hotel. At the end of the tour, participants can get off at the station where they got on.
The cost of the tour is 40 shekels per participant. Details and tickets at pami.co.il
