Low-cost carrier easyJet makes hesitant return, with only 3 destinations

British airline, which has hardly flown to Israel since October 2023, announced that it will resume its flights to a limited number of destinations only ahead of the spring season

The British low‑cost airline easyJet announced Thursday it will resume flights to Israel starting at the end of March 2026, operating routes to just three destinations initially.
“We are pleased to renew flights between Tel Aviv and London Luton, Amsterdam and Milan Malpensa, beginning March 29, 2026,” the company said in a statement. “We plan to resume flights to Tel Aviv from additional European bases in the next winter season - late October 2026 - instead of March next year. We continuously review all our routes and remain committed to restoring further flights to and from Tel Aviv.”

The airline also noted that customers who had purchased tickets for the affected flights are being informed of their options, including a full refund or a free transfer to an alternative flight.
The airline had suspended flights to Israel when the terror attacks erupted on October 7, 2023, briefly resumed service in March 2024, but suspended operations again following the Iranian attack in April of that year. Since then, the hiatus had been extended several times.
