British low-cost airline easyJet announced Tuesday it will not resume flights to Israel for the summer of 2026. “To provide our customers with certainty for our winter schedule, we will no longer operate flights to Tel Aviv during the winter season, up to and including March 28, 2026,” the company said, despite earlier plans to return in October.
Affected customers are being offered refunds or free transfers to alternative flights. “We apologize for any inconvenience and remain committed to resuming Tel Aviv flights from summer 2026,” easyJet added.
Last week, the Transportation Ministry reported that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency lifted all flight restrictions to Israel, following the removal of travel warnings by several key countries.
The United States lowered its travel advisory for Israel from Level 4 to Level 3, while the UK Foreign Office marked Israel’s travel map green, lifting its advisory, restoring pre-Iran war conditions. Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 1 is set to reopen on August 1, enabling low-cost carriers to gradually resume full operations in Israel.
