A viral video of Rosa.Adventures doing squats, stretches, headstands and flips during a commercial flight drew accusations of 'main character syndrome,' though she insists the crew and passengers had no problem with it

A fitness influencer and stretch therapist turned a narrow airplane aisle into her own private workout space, sparking a heated online debate over passenger etiquette, personal space and where the limits of in-flight behavior should be drawn.
In a video that has drawn hundreds of thousands of views on Instagram, the influencer, who goes by Rosa.Adventures, is seen performing squats, stretches, headstands and even flips in the aisle during a commercial flight, as other passengers appear to sit by awkwardly and try to ignore the scene.
“Long flight? I choose movement,” Rosa wrote alongside the video. In a related post, she added: “Whether I’m on the ground or 35,000 feet in the air, I can still flip, balance and move my body with confidence.”
Many viewers, to put it mildly, were not impressed by the display of flexibility. Critics accused her of “main character syndrome,” a popular online phrase used to describe people who behave as though public spaces exist mainly for their own performance.
“I was hoping this was a set, but it really was a flight,” one commenter wrote in a response that drew hundreds of likes.
Another complained: “All of our personal space is already gone on flights, and then she comes along and sucks up what little is left with her stretching.”
Some viewers wondered whether the video was AI-generated, while others summed up their response more bluntly: “Time and place.”
Several commenters also compared Rosa to NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, who was mocked in the past after saying he worked out in the aisle during a flight.

Still, not everyone saw the video as offensive. Some defended her, arguing that the routine was harmless as long as she did not physically bother anyone.
“Honestly, as long as she’s doing all that and not bumping into me, it’s fine,” one supporter wrote. “There’s something freeing about not caring what people think.”
Rosa, for her part, rejected the criticism and said neither the flight crew nor the passengers objected. “The flight attendants were fine with it and so were the passengers. Everybody won,” she wrote.
She later mocked the backlash, adding: “No need to get worked up. The plane landed safely and this promo video brought me tons of business.”
After some users accused her of performing awkward “yoga” in the aisle, Rosa issued a sharper clarification. “First of all, I don’t teach yoga. It’s a mobility routine,” she wrote. “I’m a stretch therapist with six years of experience, working mostly with football and basketball players. Don’t be jealous. You watched the video and zoomed in so much you nearly got pregnant from it. Instead of being embarrassed, talk to me and start training.”
