EL AL Israel Airlines said it is suspending its Tel Aviv–Moscow route for the coming days due to developments in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The airline said a renewed assessment of the situation will be carried out next week, after which a decision will be made regarding the resumption of the route. “Passengers will be updated accordingly and will be offered alternative options,” the company said.
The decision comes in the wake of intensified Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian territory, including Moscow, as the war continues to disrupt aviation and security conditions in the region.
Last week, Kyiv reportedly struck an oil terminal in Moscow, causing significant damage, underscoring the continued escalation in cross-border attacks deep inside Russia.
EL AL said the suspension is temporary and will remain under review depending on security and operational conditions.y released.
