Thousands of Palestinians are demonstrating in several locations along the border fence, prompting IDF forces to respond with crowd dispersal measures.
IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that since Friday afternoon, more than 10,000 protestors have been gathering along the border, throwing explosive devices, grenades and stones at IDF troops and burning tires.
An IDF soldier was lightly wounded from shrapnel and was evacuated to the hospital to receive medical attention.

"IDF soldiers are responding with crowd dispersal measures and with accordance to rules of engagement," according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
It was also reported Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft hit targets in the northern Gaza Strip.
Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar arrived to the demonstration held near Gaza City and called to continue the protests until the blockade over Gaza is lifted.
In addition, KKL employees said two fires are rampant in Be'eri and Kissufim forests amid incendiary balloons flown from Gaza.
KKL, Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and firefighting teams as well as volunteers from Kibbutz Be'eri are working to gain control over the fires.

On Thursday, an IAF aircraft attacked on Thursday a terror cell in the northern Gaza that was launching incendiary balloons into Israeli territory from the strip.
The strike came in light of violent demonstrations along the southern border, which continued throughout Yom Kippur.
On Wednesday night, a spokesman for Gaza's health ministry, said a 15-year-old boy was shot dead by Israeli soldiers east of the town of Rafah, which lies at the southern end of the Gaza Strip and borders Egypt.

On Tuesday, two Palestinians were reportedly killed and at least 46 wounded by the IDF fire in the northern Gaza Strip during violent demonstrations which took place on the holiest day of the Jewish year.
