I Stand with Israel International on Friday convened a special prayer session for Israel in partnership with the Organized Christian Midwife Group at the Land of Mercy Gospel Church, Iyana-Tioya, Amuloko, Ibadan, Nigeria.
The gathering brought together Christian midwives from across the city for a time of focused intercession for the nation and people of Israel. In addition to prayers, participants engaged in discussions on potential areas of collaboration between the Organized Christian Midwife Group and the Israel Midwives Organization, including professional skills exchange program and pilgrimage opportunities to the Holy Land.

The program commenced at 12:05 p.m. with an opening prayer led by the host and leader of the Organized Christian Midwife Group, Rev. (Mrs.) Sarah Olaide.
Prayers centered on the peace of Jerusalem, the safety of Israeli citizens amid ongoing regional tensions, and God's protection over expectant mothers and families in Israel. Participants also reflected on the biblical example of the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah (Exodus 1:15–21), whose courage and faithfulness were highlighted as enduring models of integrity and service.
The meeting also featured deliberations on strengthening professional and faith-based ties with Israeli counterparts. Discussions explored opportunities for knowledge sharing, capacity-building initiatives, and organized pilgrimages aimed at deepening participants' understanding of Israel's historical and spiritual significance.
The special prayer meeting underscored the Organized Christian Midwife Group's expression of Christian solidarity with Israel while advancing I Stand with Israel International's mission to foster meaningful connections with the land, people, and nation of Israel across diverse areas of engagement.
The program concluded at approximately 2:30 p.m. with a closing prayer and fellowship.
