An IDF reserve soldier was seriously wounded Monday afternoon in an explosion during operational activity in southern Lebanon, the military said.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. while a force from the Commando Brigade was operating in the area of Kfar Arnoun in southern Lebanon. The soldier, a reservist, was seriously wounded in the blast.

The source of the explosion has not yet been determined, and the incident is under investigation.
The soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. His family has been notified.
