Samsung managed to clinch only three remaining spots in the top ten list, all with its less expensive models. The Galaxy GA145 ranks eighth with a 1.4% market share globally, the Galaxy A04e is in ninth place with a 1.3% market share and the Galaxy A14 4G rounds up the top ten list with a 1.3% market share.

Although the Android phones often offer quality that equals that of the iPhone, and some models have features that Apple phones lack – such as pens in the Galaxy S ultra, or folding screens in other phones by Samsung, Google, One+ Oppo or HUAWEI, consumers appear to favor Apple phones. However, the ranking is done by concentrating on specific models and is prone to favor the iPhone.
In conclusion, the ranking shows that Samsung has not profited from the multiple models it brings out to market each year. The company does offer a smartphone for any possible use and at every price range but it also spends more than Apple, which concentrates its products on the premium market, leaving the less expensive phones to be made by its competitors in the world of Android.
