Seven months after their engagement, it finally happened: On Thursday evening, Danielle Amit and Emily Damari got married.

The food influencer and former Hamas hostage celebrated their moving love story at a wedding held at Sheva Hall in Tel Aviv, surrounded by close friends and family who were invited to share in their big day.

In the invitation sent to guests, the brides made one request: Do not wear red.
The specific request came from Damari, who is also known as a devoted fan of Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer club. The invitation itself was designed in blue and yellow, the colors associated with the team.

The love story between the successful influencer and the former hostage was revealed in June 2025, on the eve of the Shavuot holiday, when Amit decided to take matters into her own hands and reveal their relationship on Instagram, surprising quite a few people.
"I didn't want there to be paparazzi and I didn't want rumors to start. I wanted it to come from me to you, the way I wanted to present it and tell it," she wrote at the time alongside a photo of herself with Damari.

"For a while now, I've been going to sleep with a smile. For a while now, I've been dying to tell you what's happening in my life, because you're such a big part of it. You wake up with me, go to sleep with me, eat with me and laugh and cry with me. And you're probably asking yourselves, 'Wait, but what's going on here?' Right now, I'm not really able to talk, and what a mess it is to drop such a bomb here and then want to disappear. But very soon, there will be one good story here, and I'll tell my friends everything."
Eight months after they went public with their relationship, Damari got down on one knee and proposed to Amit at a celebratory event marking one year since her release from Hamas captivity in Gaza.
