Levy, a spokesman for the National Public Diplomacy Directorate, has become a familiar face in many Israeli households and internationally through his interviews with global media outlets since the onset of Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza.

In Levy's most memorable interview, a British journalist questioned him about the disparity between the number of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners released as part of the first hostage release deal. The interviewer suggested that Israel seemingly undervalues Palestinian lives, given the imbalance in the numbers released. Levy quickly dismissed it as an "outrageous accusation."
However, it was his visibly shocked countenance that grabbed headlines and went on to inspire countless Internet memes.

Levy auditioned more than a month ago in the middle of the war, but no decision has yet been made on whether he made the cut.
The show's producers did not respond to a query from Ynet, nor did Levy.
