Oven-baked salmon fillet strips you can whip up in a jiff

A perfect dish for busy people: a colorful, flavorful and easy-to-make baked fish recipe

Ingredients (serves 6):
For the fish:
  • 3 bell peppers, various colors
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2.2 pounds fresh salmon fillet, sliced into portions

For garnish:
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • A handful of fresh, chopped cilantro
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Slice the bell peppers into half-inch thick strips and place them in the tray.
  3. Add two tablespoons of olive oil, paprika, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and half of the garlic to the tray, mixing until evenly coated.
  4. Rinse and thoroughly dry the salmon. Place it in the tray with the remaining garlic and a tablespoon of olive oil, mixing again until coated.
  5. Arrange the salmon pieces over the peppers, sprinkle with garlic and cilantro, and bake for about 15 minutes.
