What do Erdogan, Qatar and Hamas have in common? The ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, a movement whose goal is the elimination of all non-Muslim entities established on “Islamic lands,” the eradication of Western culture and the imposition of Sharia law throughout the Islamic sphere.
Officially, the Muslim Brotherhood opposes violence, but its unrestrained subversion has led many countries to designate it a terrorist organization. Israel is its clear enemy because it is a Jewish, Western state on “Islamic land.” Indeed, the movement has called for our destruction. In Israel, the factions of the Islamic Movement are considered local branches of the Muslim Brotherhood, despite their denials, but Mansour Abbas, a member of the southern branch, acknowledged that there is an “ideological connection.”
The Islamic Movement in Israel was founded in 1971 by Abdullah Nimr Darwish, in coordination with Ahmed Yassin, the founder of Hamas. After a period involving terrorism and imprisonment, Darwish changed course toward nonviolent activity, in keeping with Muslim Brotherhood ideology that permits lying and deception. That is why, when Darwish died, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh eulogized him: “We are far from you in distance but close in our hearts, souls, emotions and the sacred goals for which we work...”
The Islamic Movement is an octopus made up of numerous charitable and educational associations and a political arm called Ra’am. Abbas, Darwish’s most prominent disciple, is a master of the tactic of speaking sympathetically in Hebrew while acting and speaking very differently in Arabic.
In Hebrew, he said Israel was born as a Jewish state and would remain so, expressed solidarity with Holocaust victims, condemned the massacre in the Gaza border communities and preached equality and tolerance. In Arabic, one can find a different style, such as: “When we increase attendance at Al-Aqsa... we establish their presence [the Arabs of Jerusalem], and everything converges on the main goal, preserving Jerusalem as an Arab, Muslim, Palestinian city.” Or: “Today, in one of the projects, we provide support to more than 17,000 Palestinian orphans, the children of martyrs, the children of fighters and the children of the entire Palestinian people.”
Those “fighters and martyrs” are Hamas terrorists who were killed. An association identified with Ra’am, Aid 48, recently was dissolved by the authorities after transferring millions to their families in Gaza and to the Islamic Charitable Society in Hebron, which is designated a terrorist organization. Among its directors was Razi Issa, No. 15 on Ra’am’s list for the Knesset elections, who appeared with Abbas, Bennett and Lapid at the signing of the coalition agreements in June 2021 and was photographed at the opening of the association’s branch alongside Razi Hamed, a senior Hamas official who, after the massacre, promised us more of the same until our destruction.

Other central figures in the movement and in Ra’am were in contact with several organizations that had been declared terrorist organizations. The smiling Abbas opposed the Abraham Accords and consistently refuses to define Hamas as a terrorist organization. According to reports, he led the drafting of the Islamic Movement’s 2018 charter.
The charter defines civic integration into the state as being intended to realize “national, civil and religious rights within Israel, the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with Jerusalem as its capital, and the return of the refugees and displaced persons.” In other words, a process that begins with civil rights, moves to national rights and ends with the right of return. That is enough to understand that the goal is the elimination of Israel. The details were exposed in investigations by Choosing Life, Ad Kan and Hakol Hayehudi.
Where are the Israeli media and the Shin Bet? Did the smiles melt them? Netanyahu was the first who wanted to bring Ra’am into the coalition, but Smotrich torpedoed the initiative, and thus the “change government” coalition was born. In the meantime, we had a massacre produced by the Muslim Brotherhood, and data were exposed regarding ties between Islamic Movement figures and Hamas and the transfer of funds. This is only a fraction of the shocking material that exists about the sophisticated subversion of this movement, which is dangerous to our existence.
One can only hope that politicians will stop playing with fire and selling our future to it in exchange for power.
