Pelephone is the first company in Israel to announce prices, positioning itself aggressively with rates lower than last year’s iPhone 16 launch.
The base iPhone 17 with 256 gigabytes of storage is listed at 3,999 shekels ($1,200), compared with 4,649 shekels ($1,395) for the iPhone 16’s entry model a year ago. The iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at 5,799 shekels ($1,740) for 256 GB and runs up to 9,599 shekels ($2,880) for the 2-terabyte version.
The carrier is also offering promotional incentives, including lifetime device warranty, trade-in deals worth up to 3,000 shekels, and a new “Pele Cash” service allowing customers to return old devices for direct bank transfers. Additional discounts and benefits are set to be revealed at the official launch.
