A new glamping site has opened on the Golan Heights after its construction was delayed by the war. It includes 30 air-conditioned luxury tents complete with kitchenettes and a high-end design.
The tents nestle among pine, oak and plane trees at an elevation of 915 meters (3,000 feet) in Kubbut Ortal. "The tents have panoramic views of the Golan hills, accommodating couples of families of up to five and offer a unique blend of an authentic nature experience with comfort and meticulous aesthetics," site owners said.
The site is within walking distance of the Kibbutz and a horse-riding farm with activities suitable for all ages. Jeep tours are also available for guests and in the surrounding area, visitors can enjoy the local winery and the boutique cheese industry.
Prices for a family of 5 are between NIS 800 and NIS 1,500 ($215 to $322) per night.

Opening the new glamping site is evidence of our true victory," the Kibbutz said. "During the war and the security challenges we all faced in the area, causing financial damages as well, we decided to keep building out of our firm belief that this project and the values it represents will persevere. Now that we can open one of Israel's most glorious glamping facilities, we invite Israelis to share in the experience at a time when we all need some peace and quiet."
