Israeli singer and songwriter Svika Pick was laid to rest Monday morning in a funeral ceremony attended by family members and friends, which include some of Israel's top musicians and artists.
At the request of the family, the general public did not attend the funeral and security guards were placed at the entrance to the cemetery in Ramat HaSharon.
The funeral was attended by his family member, including his three children - Benli, Sharona, and Daniella, who is married to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.
A host of Israeli celebrities also attended the funeral. Among them were musical artists: Aviv Gefen, Oshik Levi, Eric Berman, Nisim Garame, Harel Moyal, and Zachi Noy.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid stopped a meeting discussing the recent Operation Breaking Dawn in Gaza to update those present of the death of the singer.
"Svika was a revolutionary artist of his generation, one of the pillars of Israeli pop," said Lapid after the meeting. "Svika passed away today, but the songs and melodies he left behind will continue to play for many years to come."
In 2018, Pick suffered health complications on board a flight, forcing an emergency landing in Vienna. He recovered since and had been working in recent months on a new show for which he already had booked several dates. Ending a revolutionary six-decade career, Pick passed away in his home in Ramat HaSharon.
His daughter, Daniella Pick, in recent years has also drawn attention to the family name due to her marriage to Tarantino. The two wed in 2018 and live in Israel with their two children.
