The next odd-named travel destination Booking.com put forth is the city of Drama in northeastern Greece.
Aside from the riveting views that tourists can explore on a leisurely walk or bike ride, the city's happenings are not very dramatic. Additionally, Drama is a lovely spot with charming cafés and restaurants that serve appetizing local dishes.

The third destination on the list is Obama, Japan, located north of the city of Kyoto. While you may think the Japanese must have named it after the former U.S. president, the city's origin has nothing to do with Barrack Obama.
In Japanese, Obama means "little beach." Accordingly, the city in the Fukui Prefecture is known for its beautiful steep cliffs on the coastline, as well as the traditional seafood. Some of the destination's hotspots include Wakasa Bay Area - home to some of the clearest waters along the coast of the Sea of Japan, and the Myotsuji Temple.
