There’s nothing like a biscuit cake to bring back childhood memories, and this recipe offers an elegant take on the classic favorite—perfect for celebrating Israel’s 77th Independence Day.
Ingredients:
  • 300 grams of dark chocolate
  • 50 grams of milk chocolate
  • 300 grams of cream
  • 20 tea biscuits
  • 20 chocolate-flavored biscuits
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions:
  1. Chop all biscuits in a bowl, then heat the cream in a pot and remove it before it boils. Pour the cream on the chocolate and let it melt. Then mix into a smooth mixture.
  2. Pour a thin layer of the melted chocolate on the bottom of your baking pan, cover with biscuits and brush over with milk. Let the biscuits absorb the milk.
  3. Continue to build your cake by repeating and top the construction with cream
  4. Cool for 12 hours and serve cold.

Friendly tips:
  • Brush biscuits with milk rather than dunking them into it
  • You can add 2 tablespoons of an alcoholic beverage of choice.
  • Freeze for one hour before serving. It will make removing the cake much easier.
