Forget Fruit Roll-ups and Pistachio Crunch ice cream bars and get to know our new addiction for the coming summer: an ice cream bar that was launched on Tuesday and is already driving Israelis crazy – it's an ice cream bar from the Nestlé Crunch line, only this time the pistachio has been replaced with cornflakes. Yes, you heard that right – cornflakes and milk flavored ice cream.

"We haven't seen this kind of madness in a very long time," Israel Abrahami, retail manager at Wolt Israel, told Ynet. "The product was just released for the first time on the market – and it is one of the 10 best-selling products on Wolt. Thousands of units of the new flavor have been sold, and the inventory is almost finished."
And like the previous hit, Crunch Pistachio, this too it is a collaboration between the ice cream manufacturer and the Facebook group "We feel your hunger," in which a taste test was held for a number of ice cream bars in different flavors, and the members of the group who tasted then rated them - in the end, cornflakes and milk was chosen as the winner.
This launch quickly went viral and led to record sales. Wolt reported that on Tuesday about five boxes were sold per minute, and the stock, which was produced in a limited edition, is nearly gone. The price of a case that includes a cooler and six bars is 65 shekels (nearly $18).
The ice cream bar is covered in white chocolate and the popular crunch, and you can bite into it and enjoy the sound too. The bar is also coated with small pieces of cornflakes, and those who drink the leftover milk left in the cornflakes bowl will immediately recognize the flavor.
For those who missed the previous storm for Pistachio Crunch, we will remind you that due to the demand Telegram groups were born that updated where the product could be found - and the hysteria caused the production of another unplanned release.
It all started back then with a copywriter and food lover named Ohad Rauch, who in a moment of boredom during one of the coronavirus lockdowns started designing pistachio versions of familiar snacks. These snacks do not exist at all in reality, but only on his Instagram account. All Roach did was just "dress" them with a new version of Pistachio in Photoshop.

Rauch uploaded the photo to the 435,000 members of the Facebook group "We feel your hunger," and from there everything started to happen – the post created an unexpected buzz, and received thousands of likes, shares and comments. And, as in the legends, the managers of the ice cream brand were also exposed to the fictional version of Rauch, and decided that in light of the emotional involvement of the internet surfers, they would take up the gauntlet and produce the product. The end is already known – an unprecedented onslaught of customers.
So, will the Cornflakes and Milk Crunch reproduce the hysteria that took place here around the Crunch Pistachio – of which hundreds of thousands of units were sold, or the Fruit Roll-ups that were sold on the black market at exorbitant prices? The answer to this question is elusive, because it appears this rollout will cause a lot of buzz, but it is based on the buzz created on social media; so in order to get an unequivocal answer to this you have to see the madness on the street as well.
