Easy 15-minute tuna Bolognese recipe for busy weeknights

An easy-to-make, no-fuss dish that the whole family will love when elaborate recipes are not an option

Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ teaspoon baharat
  • 2 tablespoons silan (date syrup)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (if you have at home)
  • 2 cans tuna in oil
  • ½ package of pasta (any kind you like)

Preparation:
  1. In a medium pot, bring plenty of water to a boil and cook the pasta until tender—about 12 to 14 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a sauté pan and add the garlic, paprika, tomato paste, silan, salt, and oregano. Sauté everything together for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the tuna (without the oil) and cook together for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add ¾ cup of water and cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Once the sauce is ready, add the cooked pasta, mix well until it’s fully coated in sauce, and serve.
