Uri Lupolianski dies at 74
Lupolianski, the founder of the Yad Sarah nonprofit organization who served as mayor of Jerusalem from 2003 to 2008, died after a period of illness and a deterioration in his health. He is survived by his wife and 12 children. His funeral is scheduled to take place today at 11:00 a.m Israel time; Knesset member Uri Maklev said, “The world of kindness has today lost its greatest architect.”
